Control unit RZ8 with "powerpack“
Building-authority approved hold open unit control with operation and display foil and the possibility to connect up to 20 fire detection elements. It is applicable for external activation through a superior control unit. The transfer of the activation signal to other control units is effected by an isolated contact. A hold open time of the smoke barrier of up to 10 min in case of power outage is enabled by integrated "powerpack".

Signal connection with other control units via potential relay contact (end position open and closed).
Central fire alarm system
Additional activation via central fire alarm system is possible.

Fire detector
Connection and monitoring of the optical smoke detectors is effected by a hold open unit.
Driving motor with locking device
The 230V alternating current motor used for electrical opening and works according to the fail-safe-principle. An AM-I is integrated in the drive unit and enables automatic speed control for the closing process and the 24VDC supply of the hold open unit. A24 VDC supply has to be assured externally.
Manual activator
Every smoke barrier can additionally be activated through a manual activator (push button).
