Emergency power supply over an external UPS unit

Functional principle

The switchover and the surveillance between normal and emergency are done in the UPS unit. The clearance of the closing areas can be done centrally or decentralized. The performance of the UPS unit results from the power consumption of the motors that have to be driven at the same time in case of fire. The control unit of the hold open system is released with a delay in case of failure of the UPS unit. The security circuits of the conveyor technique can additionally be supplied without interruptions by the UPS.
