Germany: Stöbich fire protection curtains now with general building approval (integrity class E)

Approval no.: Z-6.60-2127

Stöbich got a general building approval for textile fire protection closure (Z-6.60-1227) from the German Institute for Building Engineering (DIBt). The systems avoid the flame and gaz passage over 90 minutes (E 90) and are now approved for the dimensions 1 x 2 m up to 6 x 5 m. It will be installed in wall openings resp. to construction of the fire protection class F 90. A certificate of conformity has to be created for these products.

Due to the approval, the processing of project is significantly simplified in contrast to the so far time consuming and expensive approval in individual case (ZiE) for each project.

The issued approval is the result of more than 10 years of intensive research and development as well as engaged work with standards and over 22.000 installations.
